Hello and welcome to AnimalsToo. This site will be dedicated to enhancing awareness and fascination for the natural world through fast facts and discussions. While all animals are beautiful and important in their own ways, you may find our main focus will be on animal species that don't often get the public spotlight. Or have very undeserved reputations!
A bit about myself! Pushing 24 years old, I'm a pretty standard Brit living in the English East Midlands. Having been born in New Zealand, I aim to explore much more of the globe in my time. It is a huge place and life is far too short! A fascination for animals and a hunger for adventure has been ever present easily since age 3!
I owe much to all my family (especially my grandad), friends and idols (David Attenborough, Steve Irwin, Nigel Marven, Steve Backshall, to name but a few) for helping me pursue my ambition of becoming a wildlife presenter.
After completing a 2 year Extended Diploma in Animal Management (Level 3) at Brooksby Melton College, I went on to the University of Chester. Achieving a satisfactory grade of 2:2 after a 3 year BSc Animal Behaviour and Welfare course, I have continued with my goal of becoming a wildlife presenter someday. My journey has so far taken me to working at Knowsley Safari park, Chester zoo and Twycross zoo, along with various volunteering positions. I highly recommend following a similar path if animals are your passion.
When people ask why I started a blog like this, the answer is simple! Most people are naturally fascinated by the wild world, so why not make it easily accessibly to all through the technology that plays a huge part in much of our lives? Even a small influence can alter the course of one's life for the better! The more people that are on board, the better a place the world will be for all life! Sometimes, a simple powerful fact about an animal species can cement a lifelong connection with an individual! In a world where every individual can make a difference, that is really something.

(Above): A 2016 study tour to Manu National Park in Peru will always be one of the greatest achievements of my life! Not only was it a defining moment of University, but it made me realize that I was contributing to valuable work out in the wild, with the tough conditions and other hardships merely becoming part of the thrill of it all! Only by spending time in one of the most biodiverse of all habitats do you realize how rich yet fragile these places are!
